Dear Friends of the Alt Theatre,

The NEW ALT PERFORMANCE GROUP, a non-profit, 501c3 organization in residence at The Alt Theatre in its fourth season of operation, is requesting your financial support. What is The Alt? And why give to it?

In just four years of operation we have produced over thirty-five theatre, dance, music and multidisciplinary productions. Our audience size has grown by sixty percent since 2008. The attendance figure for last year's season was 3700 patrons.

This of course, has not been easy. The ALT represents a type of venue that has proven vital to the growth of Buffalo's art and cultural scene for decades. It is the rare place where talented artists can collaborate, creating outside the normal traditions and categories of performance and develop new ways to make audiences feel, think, laugh and cry. The creation of new of work by both local and visiting artists, writers, choreographers, dancers, composers and musicians is dependent upon the support from foundations, local and national business partnerships and most importantly you, our audience. We appreciate your time and generosity.
